Which deadline matters most
The consequences depend on which deadline you missed. The ART review deadline (21 days onshore) is the most significant because it permanently closes off merits review. A NOICC response deadline (usually 28 days) means the Department can proceed with cancellation. A section 57 natural justice response deadline means the Department can make a decision without considering your input. A BVB travel deadline means your bridging visa has ceased and you cannot return to Australia on it.
What you can do
If you missed the ART deadline: check whether you are still within the 35-day judicial review window. Check whether ministerial intervention is appropriate.
If you missed a NOICC deadline: the Department may proceed with cancellation, but the cancellation decision itself may be reviewable at the ART (with its own deadline).
If you missed a BVB travel deadline: you need a new visa to return to Australia.
