Requirements:
While applying for this visa, it is necessary for the applicant to be present in Australia. Also, the applicant must meet the required character and health requirements, be less than 18 years and either be unmarried or in de – facto relationship. The applicant needs to be sponsored only by a grandparent, uncle, aunt, brother, sister or step equivalents who are citizens of Australia, holders of Australian permanent resident visas or eligible New Zealand citizens. The applicant must be an orphan or the parents are unable to take good care of.

The Orphan Relative Visa allows you to stay permanently in Australia. You can work and enrol in studies as well as in Australia’s health-related care and expense schemes like Medicare. If the visa holder is eligible and meets a certain set of requirements, they can also apply for Australian citizenship. For five years from the date of visa grant, the visa holder is allowed to travel to and from Australia frequently. Other than that, the applicant is also permitted to sponsor their eligible relatives for permanent residency.
Orphan Relative (Subclass 117) Offshore Visa
This Visa allows an orphan child to live with his or her sponsoring relatives permanently in Australia.
Requirements:
At the time of applying for the visa, it is mandatory for the applicant to be outside Australia. The applicant must be under 18 years of age, either unmarried or in de – facto relationship. The applicant must be either an orphan or the parents are unable to take good care of you. Also, it is important for the applicant to meet the character and health requirements. The applicant must be sponsored only by a grandparent, uncle, aunt, brother, sister or step equivalents who are citizens of Australia, holders of Australian permanent resident visas or eligible New Zealand citizens.

The person is allowed to work and get enrolled in studies as well as in Australia’s health-related care and expense schemes like Medicare. If the person meets a certain set of requirements, he or she can apply for Australian citizenship as well. The visa holder is also allowed to sponsor eligible relatives for permanent residency. Other than that, the visa holder is also permitted to travel to and from Australia frequently for a span of five years from the date of visa grant.
