What are the requirements for Business Owner Visa (Subclass 890)?

In order to hold the Business owner Visa (subclass 890), the applicant must comply with the following conditions:

• If the applicant is holding one of the following provisional visas on the basis of former or current facto partner or spouse satisfying the primary criteria:
• Business Owner (Provisional) visa (subclass 160)
• Investor (Provisional) visa (subclass 162)
• Senior Executive (Provisional) visa (subclass 161)
• State/Territory Sponsored Business Owner (Provisional) visa (subclass 163)
• State/Territory Sponsored Investor (Provisional) visa (subclass 165)
• State/Territory Sponsored Senior Executive (Provisional) visa (subclass 164)
• All the conditions laid under the provisional visa should be complied with by the applicant.
• The applicant lived in Australia while holding the provisional visa for at least 12 months in the previous 2 years.
• All the character and health requirements are fulfilled by the applicant and his family member.
• Neither the applicant nor the defacto partner must have been involved in any illegal or unacceptable investment or business activity.
• There must be a genuine commitment of an applicant to maintain the investment activities and business in Australia.
• All the members listed in the visa application should comply with all the requirements laid irrespective of their migration status.
•  Certain health requirements are laid for which the results are valid up to 12 months. It is recommended not to undertake any health test unless asked by the authorities.
